| Factory Tech Racing opened its doors June 1, 2008, but the real story began in 1990. While racing the local scene and working on my own bikes with a broken wrist, it gave me some time to evaluate where my career path was going. I worked at a local shop to try and learn anything and everything I could about dirt bikes. It didn’t take long before wrenching on bikes took over my love of racing, and very quickly I had a job with a local pro who wanted to compete in East Coast SX races and Outdoor Nationals.
Over the past 18 years, I have worked at a number of motorcycle shops and professional race teams building a foundation of knowledge that will show in everything I will be offering to my customers. FTR is based on fundamentals of family, hard work and personal sacrifice. And as a Christian-based company, it will be easy to see that from the merchandise, to the quality of work, to the customer service, FTR’s main goal is to take the extra time and work to stand apart from all other performance shops by building a personal relationship with each customer. The products and tools we offer each customer, and the standards to which we perform our services, will easily help them perform to the best of their ability. Personally, this past year has been amazing for me. I have worked for four different professional riders that earned national numbers in 2008. Tommy Hahn (32), Wil Hahn (99), Daniel Sani, and Kevin Johnson (72) have allowed me the opportunity to work on several different bike brands at races all across the nation. This has helped me to put the finishing touches on the products and services we now offer at FTR.
I look forward to building relationships with many new customers and gaining the same respect I have already earned over the years with my existing customers. FTR will be trackside almost every weekend, supporting the value of our products we sell and the morals of what we stand for.
